I have just started to use VB6 Data Reporter.
I cannot determine how I automatically show (or print) of the report in
landscape mode?
There appears to be no portrait/landscape property for the report, and
setting the Printer.Orientation property at run time has no effect on the
report produced.

Is it not possible to design report to run in landscape mode?. If it is, how
is it achieved?

Thanks in advance

Richard;
I've seen a knowledge base article on this issue. I don't have it at hand, but
you should try a search on the MS support site.

Please DON'T!
Datareport just sucks big time!
Instead get free crystal reports plug-in from seagate sowtware.

You say that because you are unwilling to learn the new tool. I have
been able to create unbound reports, change and set data sources from
within the code and create Report wizards that are tough to do using a
third party reporting toll such as Crystal. All using the Data Report
provided with VB. Crystal is great, but it can be cumbersome trying to
distribute.

It has nothing to do with learning a new tool. The VB DataReport really does
suck.

Sucks like a dog !

VB6 has all fancy MircoSoft (Nerd rule) freaks and tweeks to keep it
(in Chairman Bills way of the world) ahead of everyone else.

IT IS TOO COMPLICATED

So from me its goodbye VB and hello Dephi and Crystal Reports.

I am not gonna be shafted by MS anyone. Just ran out of vaseline.

I never said it was as rich and full feautred as some other reporting
tools. My main arguement is if I'm wokring with one MS development
system, it is much easier to stay within MS to make sure things will
run smoothly. My last prjoect involved using VB, Sybase and Crystal.
The nightmares never ended.
