Does anybody have a doom/wolf type game they could post. Preferably in
PowerBasic but QuickBasic is fine to. I have one but its pretty slow and
I don't know about Basic to make faster code.

Um, check out ALL THOSE POSTS about DOOM.BAS and WOLF3D.BAS. I posted a
copy as "CODE: WOLF3D.BAS"

Next time, actually read the newsgroup before posting a request.

By the slow one do you mean my one (or an adaption of it)? :) hehe yep
it's not that fast, there _is_ a powerbasic 3d engine out.. well it's
just a raycaster like mine but it's not bad, a bit faster although it
has a few little bugs in it but then again, most programs do! But I am
working on a 'doom like' engine with those cool walls and textures and
in the end I'll code it into PB for speed. Then I might see the hits on
some of my web pages go up as everyone looks for the file! :)

I just found yor Letter mentioning my Raycaster :-) You said there are a
few bugs in it, please tell me which.

By the way there is a even faster Version availible, and tataa, tataa one
with real textures. You can find them on The PBSound Page of Thomas Gohel
(Http://http://www.inx.de/%7Epbsound)

I am real new on the Internet, so I found out just two weeks ago that
there is someone else besides me that does raycasting in Basic.

If you have any further sugestions or change your source (I heard you
will try textures too) let me know.
