What is the relation of this site with APL?
I once heard it was "written in APL" but I see no fact to back this up.

Always when you do not know what language is behind a product and
webpages you can assume them to be written in APL.

See http://www.openhere.com/docs/info/search.htm

I believe Fred Waid was involved with this site, but the web pages
never mention any people or location. On the home page it says
"Copyright © 1998-04", so perhaps it's been on autopilot for some
years.

Why would you need to see APL mentioned as the power behind the
website?

In the new J generated html that is in early beta there is not much
said that is is generated by a J engine.

Maybe that is something that should by put into the comments generated
like sometimes there is a mention of Java script in html?

Should the html also tell what dialect of APL produced the html and
what version?

I never said I NEEDED to see APL mentioned, I just wanted to know the

Belated addition to this thread:

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=%22Fred+Waid%22+openhere.com

The revelation that openhere.com was powered by APL+Win was made on
this usenet group on Nov 2 1999 in:

http://groups.google.com/group/comp.lang.apl/tree/browse_frm/month/1999-11?_done=%2Fgroup%2Fcomp.lang.apl%2Fbrowse_frm%2Fmonth%2F1999-11%3F&pli=1

The site does not appear to have been updated since August 2008. Does
anyone know what's happened?
