Our client in the Life Insurance industry is looking for an experienced C++ and Visual Basic programmer with strong project leadership and communication skills. Qualified candidates must have the ability to understand system design as well as the ability and interest to share the responsibility for the maintenance of the software. Maintenance will include transforming the look and feel to the user and adding functional enhancements. A principle challenge of this position is developing highly accurate systems and at the same time maintaining their accuracy, through several enhancements and revisions.
The successful candidate must have: a bachelor*s degree in mathematics, engineering, computer science or applicable area; a minimum of 3 years of C++ and Visual Basic programming experience; strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for editing and mentoring purposes; as well as excellent project management abilities. Life insurance knowledge is desired.
