Our client is a leader in their industry and is seeking a Deployment Analyst (DA) to understand clients' detailed business requirements, and configure and test COMPANY products so that those requirements are met. This will involve specification work, configuration (XML, SQL, and Java coding) of COMPANIES products, and testing of COMPANIES products.
Role Responsibilities
1. Understand client business requirements and understand how products can meet those requirements
2. Produce detailed specifications and designs of how to configure products
3. Understand, manipulate and analyse client data and load data into products
4. Configure products via XML scripts, Java and SQL on UNIX platforms
5. Debug and fix project issues
6. Design and conduct unit tests of configured products
7. Design and conduct integration tests of configured products
8. Assist Validation Services with the construction and execution of system tests of configured products
9. Install products on UNIX and Windows platforms and
support data loading
10. Perform product tuning (of alert quality) and performance tuning of products
11. Work in a structured team environment under the instruction of a project manager
12. Work alongside clients and partner staff in a professional manner
13. Assist with internal development and pre-sales activities as required
14. Participate in, and contribute to, the Deployment Practice
