Our Client is a Trading firm in Chicago and is seeking a Java GURU.
This candidate has to be interested in performance. To write high performance code, you have to understand what is really going on and the tradeoffs among implementation choices.
Working on a project that involves Java at a very low level, i.e. implementing Java on a new type of computer. Again, you must have learned details that most people ignore.
You will be language lawyer. Some people are very interested programming languages, we need someone that understands connctions to socket level and TCP's -
You must have developed a significant programming framework in Java. If you are trying to make something that is extra simple for people to use and will make the right choices for them, you have to first understand those choices yourself ;-)
