This position requires a Bachelor*s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field and a minimum of five years computer programming experience, preferably in a financial services environment with at least four years working in the assigned business unit or an equivalent capacity outside of the organization. Master*s degree desirable. This position requires: proficiency with Cognos Suite or equivalent BI tools, HTML, XML, SQL, Oracle stored procedures, Actuate Reporting Suite or equivalent reporting environment; Java skills desirable; knowledge of OLAP and cube technology, knowledge of logical data modeling, business rule definition, and meta-data management; the ability to actively listen, interview end-users or clients, and apply information from meetings to complete tasks; mathematical and statistical aptitude; strong interpersonal and presentation skills; and good written and verbal communication skills.
