Exp architecting and writing code for several features
within a system along with the development and test of low
level system drivers.
Ability to debug both hardware and software issues using
tools directly related to these tasks.
Willingness to perform very limited domestic and
international travel.
Scope: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes development of Windows and MacIntosh software
customizations to meet customer requirements for the Host
portion of Consumer Audio solution. This solution is
targeted at portable MP3/WMA players and is successfully
being retailed in products throughout American and Asia
Pacific regions. The responsibilities will also include
direct customer interface and support of the above host
offerings as well as direct interface with Core Software
Design team. This position will also assist and/or develop
applications in support of customer requirements as defined
by Applications, Sales and Marketing and/or customers. Work
with customers to understand bugs and suggested improvements
to offering. Improve usability of software through the
documentation of new host software features and
enhancements. Write design specifications and software to
support SDK/product offering, which includes new features,
bug fixes, improved usability, and system optimizations.
Develop and help provide periodic technical training
sessions to customers and distributor field application
engineers.
