Core developer on at least 3 audio, video, or still image
algorithms (or any combination thereof)

Scope: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This individual is responsible for the overall quality of
the algorithms on the STMP35xx and STMP36xx devices. To a
large extent this means guiding and monitoring third party
development to ensure technology is being appropriately
developed for our applications. Interfacing with third
parties is part of the job, although this role is focused on
the technology more so than the management. The amount of
algorithm coding done by this individual will largely be
decided by the individual themselves. The algorithm expert
will be involved in the following:
Soliciting input from Marketing and Applications to generate
requirements
Writing requirements specifications for algorithms
Reviewing feasibility and design documents provided by third
parties implementing algorithms
Providing design requirements to third parties
Reviewing publicly available (ISO, etc.) algorithm
specifications
Defining compliance criteria to be used to measure
acceptance of deliverables
Validating compliance of algorithm deliverables
Coding portions of algorithms where their expertise is
applicable.
