Direct activities of project team and monitors
progress on meeting schedules and task completion.
Directs activities to ensure quality and timeliness of
project results. Maintains resource estimates and
project plan. Prepares and distributes a weekly
Project Status Report. Ensures that project
objectives meet the company's overall standards,
(including audit controls and system security),
operations objectives, and business requirements.
Prepares SDLC documentation.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project, (GA levelized Compensation project) is
essentially a rewrite of an existing application that
handles the calculation and payment of compensation to
our career agents. The project is underway and is
presently in the Design Phase. The scope of the
project consists of converting the data contained in
the existing application to the new platform and
redesigning functionality. The new system is being
developed on a Unix platform. The application
database will reside on a Sybase SQL Server. The GUI
is being developed in Powerbuilder 6.0 using PACE
architecture and the reports are being developed using
SQR 4.0.
