COMMENTS: Our client is the leading provider of electronic
commerce and information services to the foodservice
industry. They provide services to foodservice
operators, distributors and manufacturers to enable
them to do business with one another more efficiently.
You will set up and manage the testing and quality
assurance process. Develop structured and formal
testing plans, acceptance criteria, and test
environments. Execute tests and document findings.
You will be responsible for:
1. Refining overall testing, quality assurance and SW
release processes.
2. Developing and leading detailed test plans for
products.
3. Creating and maintaining a robust and up to date
SW testing and release environment.
4. Executing tests and clearly documenting problems
and results.
5. Providing critical feedback on both business and
technical issues to Product Development.
6. Managing the SW change process.
7. Working with product managers to identify the key
criteria to determine when products should be released
to clients.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
1. Outstanding PC Computer skills: Unix, Windows
(95, 3.1, NT), Netscape, and IE4 experience is
desirable.
2. Familiarity with C++, SQL, Installshield and HTML
is desirable.
3. Significant work experience in all phases of the QA
process.
Qualified candidates will possess excellent verbal and
written communication skills, strong project
management skills, and the ability to quickly master
new products adn services as well as computer tools
and applications.
Foodservice industry experience is a plus, as is
supervisory experience and interaction across
organizational boundaries within a company.
EDUCATION:
· BA/BS Degree in a technical field
· 4-6 years as a QA Engineer or related experience.
