System Integration and Test Engineer Job Description: System Integration and Test of Internal Digital Satellite System components. Perform system level testing of commercial digital satellite receivers. Setup and debug complex test systems. Report bugs found and work with developers for resolution. Requirements: BSEE with 4+ years experience or equivalent experience and knowledge working as a test engineer in a fast pace SI&T environment. Experience with digital satellite and cable system architectures. Knowledge of analog and digital audio and video test measurements. Knowledge of MPEG2 and DVB standards. Understanding of satellite transmission standards and testing. Knowledge of VMS, UNIX and Windows based operating systems. Knowledge of PC hardware and computer networking. Good trouble shooting skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work under minimum supervision. Willing to work shifts as needed.
