Main Purpose: To develop applications and services related to specified tasks. The consultant developer will generally work closely with the development team and technical leads to execute the vision of the enterprise architect but should be capable of independent work. The responsibilities can include development, detailed design documentation, and design briefings.
Job Functions:
*Perform detailed technical design on requirements and direction provided by the technical lead and enterprise architect
*Technical Skills: knowledge of (Java, J2SE, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, Swing, XML, XSL, Unix, Windows, Oracle, SQL Server), proficient technical writing skills, object-oriented design knowledge
*Work Habits: strong verbal and written communication skills, easily adaptable to different design tools
*Develop software applications and services
*Technical Skills: knowledge of (Java, J2SE, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, Swing, XML, XSL, Unix, Windows, Oracle, SQL Server)
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3-7 years experience with software development with at least 2-4 years of Java development.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering strongly desired.
Previous DoD experience a plus. Pluses include: experience with simulation and modeling ie; DIS,HLA
