Description: Distributed Systems Services, Inc., an IBM Premier Partner, is a software consulting company that needs individuals to architect e-business solutions, implement programming enhancements, assist with detailed problem analysis, and support our customer base.
While focusing on in Notes and Domino, this position also include development in other collaborative technologies. Project involvement will include prototyping, design, analysis, and implementation. Additionally, as a technical leader, the Senior Developer may participate in pre-sales activities, proposal development, technical team leadership, and mentoring of junior developers.

Job Requirements:
- 5+ Years experience in programming / MIS related field
- 2+ years of professional consulting experience is preferred.
- B.S. or B.A. degree in CS/CE/EE/MIS or a related technical field (math/sciences) from an accredited program.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Principal CLP Certification for Application Development is preferred
- Experience in developing Lotus Notes/Domino applications, including LotusScript, Formula language, and Java.
- Experience in developing Replic-Action and LEI solutions.
- Experience with other enterprise integration tools such as LS:DO and the LSX toolkits.
- Experience in developing solutions using IntelliPrint, Crystal Reports, or other reporting tools.
- Exposure to full development life cycle
- A strong background of JAVA, Websphere, HTML, OOP, Oracle and DB2 skills is preferred.
- The ability to work as part of a team, providing support and knowledge-sharing with the other team members is critical.
- Ability to interface with customers and end users to define and clarify system requirements.
- The ability to multitask, work on concurrent projects, demonstrate initiative, problem-solve and take ownership of a project and run with it is essential.
- The ability to analyze and understand existing code to provide timely support and enhancements is essential.
