Description: Our client, based in suburban Philadelphia, is in need of mulitple .NET Programmers with experience developing and implementing web based software applications to work as a contractor. You will use your expert skills in ASP.NET and C# and database technologies such as SQL Server or Oracle to create cutting-edge web applications for our clients. Strong object-oriented programming and development skills will ensure your success in this position. A general understanding of system/web server administration and its affect on web development is required. Top candidates will have proven experience in translating user input and business needs into the requirements and specifications that drive enterprise level system development. Strong writing skills, experience in developing software development proposals and estimating skills are a big plus.




Responsibilities

• Develop web based software applications using ASP.NET and C#.
• Meet with clients to determine technical needs and propose solutions.




•Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective communication to clients and project team members.
•Knowledge of and competence with core technologies related to the Web.
•Demonstrated ability to use relevant programming software products (see above).
•Ability to learn new technologies related to the Web.
•Ability to work with clients and end users to develop and document system requirements.
•Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines.



• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in object-oriented web development
• 2 years of experience developing in ASP.NET
• Strong experience working with large databases, preferably SQL Server.
• Experience developing corporate intranets.
