Description: We are searching for software developer with experience in data warehousing, specifically with experience in ETL development using a tool based approach, experience developing with Oracle PL/SQL, and with experience in building and/or enhancing an over-all data warehousing production environment. Additionally, this position requires experience with Oracle 8.x in a data warehousing environment. The primary focus of this person will be in developing new data warehouse applications along with building changes to existing “Run The Engine” applications.
Specifically, we are looking for an ETL Developer who has the following:
· 2+ years development experience with ETL tools (Ascential Datastage is preferred) supporting a production data warehouse
· Experience developing database applications using PL/SQL
· Experience with Unix shell scripting and perl
· Some project planning experience
· Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with business users.
· 2+ years experience with Oracle 8.x
· Willingness to handle production support
The following is a plus:
· Experience with Brio OLAP tool
· Experience developing with C/C++
· Banking industry experience
· Experience supporting an existing production scheduling system (Control-M preferred)
