Major Duties
· Member of the Product Data Management Team, responsible for analyzing existing processes, formulating logic for new systems, devising logic procedures, preparing flowcharting, performing coding, and testing/debugging workflows.
· Responsible to identify concept flaws, provide solution alternatives and initiate new approaches to problem solving of technical projects.
· Using interpersonal skills, recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
· Development of collaboration capability, electronic document management, and workflow development.
· Will also support access control rules, security provisions, data cleansing and normalization to enable global access to product data.
Education and Experience Requirements:
· Specific experience in PTC's Windchill product
· B.S. in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, and three to five years of experience in programming and system analysis with knowledge of project management.
· Knowledge of client/server environments (UNIX, ORACLE), and experience in integrating desktop required.
· Advanced computer skills
· 2+ years Product Data Management Application Experience
· Experience w/ object modeling support, technical component design
· Knowledge of Object Oriented modeling and programming, JAVA, JSP, JAVA Bean, HTML, Javascript and Windchill a must.
· Knowledge of C, C++, Sherpa, Visual Cafe, Windows 2000, HTML, PDF, CGI, Unigraphics, Mentor, Microsoft Office, JBDC, Rational Rose Modeling Tools, WDS and DOORS, PVCS Dimensions a plus.
· Sherpa PDM experience is a plus
5 Years Windchill programming experience.
Sherpa to Windchill migration experience.
