Text Cipher is free software for microsoft windows 95 and up.

Use it to encrypt and decrypt text.

I suppose few people would use a crpto software that is
without appropriate description and understandable coding.
There doesn't seem to be any at your site for that.

I was thinking much the same thing.

Also, it looks like a terribly primitive application, and most
inconvenient for most things.

Primitive, yes, and about the only thing I can think of for which
TextCipher might be convenient is copying and pasting encrypted messages
into real-time chat programs. I am, however, unsure of a good way of
sharing the password.

I don't have much faith that the author has implemented AES and Tiger
correctly, either.

I use ROT26 - it's twice as good as ROT13 anyway.

Hey ROT26 has served the e-mail world so well for so long - why change?
It's THE accepted standard for U.S. e-mail after all.
