You should be able to go into any search engine, i.e. google, yahoo
etc and in the search box search for things about the internet.
Remember to use syntax though if you are searching using more than one
word or you may find that you will get thousands of sites. For
example, if you were searchin for the world wide web either use

"world wide web" in inverted commas or

use bellean syntax - world AND wide AND web

www.w3schools.com is the best tutorial i have seen on the internet,
it'll teach you HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, Javascript, DHTML almost
everything :)

I found that www.internet-guide.co.uk is agood site. It is a great
beginner's guide to the Internet and has very helpful information
about the Internet and the Web.
