Youtube discriminates against me and others

I cannot set up a youtube access to comment etc with a gmail account
(the only one allowed) since I do not have a cell phone to receive texts
I cannot set up a gmail account not that I really want one because I
will never use it !
I use a library computer to access the internet.

Youtube discriminates against the indigent !!!

It's a way of them ensuring they don't get spam accounts, or bad-actors.
It is annoying, but there are ways around it.

This made me chuckle. The phone part is easy to spoof if you know what
you're doing. I'm sure you have an access to a computer since you're
posting in this newsgroup. I do think you're also technically minded
enough that you somehow found yourself here.
