We're considering using Enterprise server and are wondering what peoples
experience with two aspects. Neither one is really explained on the
Netscape
Site that I can find.

1) Server-Side Java execution.
Specifically, is this implementation similar to FastCGI in structure?
In FastCGI, a
server generally creates a configurable number of processes to handle
each fastCGI
program and the program is designed somewhat like a mini, simple,
server
outputting to what is meant to look like standard out.

2) Live-Wire
Is it difficult to use other Databases other than Informix?

No, the integration is tighter than that. You have direct access to
server objects, etc. CGI and FastCGI can't get that close.

No, it has standard libraries for Informix, Oracle, Sybase, and ODBC.
