I am not sure that we got the currect newsgroup. If it is not so, pardon

After installing Personal Web Sever in my friend's computer, Microsoft
Frontpage 98 is not working without dial-up network (internet)
connection (before he worked without that). It shows up the following
message.
"FrontPage require 32-bit TCP/IP networking. You do not have 32-bit
TCP/IP networking installed. Would you like to see help on how to
install".
Eventhough we used their help procedures, still FrontPage not working
without internet connection. Could we overcome this problem.

There is a bug in winsock2 which comes with PWS which causes FrontPage to
think you don't have TCP/IP installed.
You can get a patch for this from the Microsoft site.
