Apache 2.2.15 Reverse Proxy

I have an apache reverse proxy configured, in the following manner:

1) User enters the URL as http://address.mydomain.com
2) That resolves to a reverse proxy, its on windows 2003 32bit apache
2.2.15 compiled with openSSL
3) the reverse proxy connects to https://address.theridomain.com

After it hits the other address its a black box to me.

The reverse proxy works great...in most instances. However it
occasionally throws the errors:

request body failed to <IP Address>:443 (address.theridomain.com)
[Thu Nov 04 10:06:05 2010] [error] proxy: pass request body failed to
<IP>:443 (address.theridomain.com) from <ClientIP> ()

Out of 8000 page hits in a test I had 12 of these errors, I'm kind of
stumped where to being so any help would be appreciated.
