This symposium brings together engineers and researchers interested in
developing innovative Internet applications and technology. Tutorials for
technical staff, researchers, managers, and students will provide
immediately useful, practical information on topics such as Web security,
XML, and Internet performance. The goal of this symposium is to bring
together engineers and researchers interested in developing innovative
Internet applications and technology. This will be a 3.5 day symposium,
with 1 day of tutorials, followed by 2.5 days of refereed paper
presentations, invited talks, works-in-progress presentations, demos, panel
