this is what you have to do at least:
1 - Uncompress the file using *gunzip*, which uses a different
compression methode w.r.t. *compress*. G(un)zip can be found
at many popular sites, such as http://hpux.cs.utah.edu or
http://hpux.cae.wisc.edu.
2 - Untar the file at an appropriate location. Maybe you can examine
the contents of the tar file by executing:
tar tvf netscape-v30b5a-export.hppa1.1-hp-hpux.tar
3 - Read any *readme* file present.
