Reasons for web developer to use Firefox?

I reverted to Firefox from Chrome for privacy and security reasons, and after Firefox seemed to be catching up to Chrome. I'm seeing issues during web development, and I'm wondering if Firefox will ever be a viable alternative to Chrome for web development (not just secure, private, highly configurable browsing).

Are there any developers out there who have successfully chose Firefox over Chrome?
