I'd like to know what the most frequently accessed search engines are.. I need to
submit a new site to these engines however there seem to be so many out there. Do
all of the search engines let you register your own description and keywords?
Better yet, is there a site which will let you register with all the popular engines
at once? Any info on registering a site would be appreciated!

there is a site that allows you to register with everone. The problem is
that my .ini file was erased so I lost the bookmark. If you find it let
me know. It is a fill out form that allows you to enter your own words
and select where you want to register. BTW Yahoo, Webcrawler, and Lycos
are VERY popular search engines.

Actually, the most popular search engine is InfoSeek Net Search. We process
over 1,000,000 queries each day! So that may be a good place to register
first. To register with InfoSeek just send the URL to
www-r...@infoseek.com.

The page which allows you to submit anywahere is called Submit It! which I
think was already mentioned earlier in the thread so I won't expand on it!
