Patent buster for a related technology (2010-06-12 00:18 GMT)
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
This Additional patent buster is for the purpose providing 'prior art'
against patentability of related technology where similar technologies,
as described in above and in original patent buster (published
2009-07-20), are being used for generating audio-visually appealing or
measurably effective Online advertisements units; for example so called
banner ads.
Such online advertisements units can be integral part of the original web
page or be downloaded separately from some external computer system, such
as the web server belonging to the commercial distributors of online
advertisements. An example of the forms of such external online
advertisements units coming from external computer system, are Google's
Adsense Ads.
now unpatentable claims for this technology:
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
1) A method for improving the appearence or the measurable efficiency of
online advertisement designs k n o w n for it utilizing a computer
software that generates a set of audio and or visual ad designs for the
user of the system so that the user can select best design or designs
according to his/her liking the properties present or absent among the
presented set of ad designs.
2) A device arrangement and a method according to claim 1 where the
generated a new set of audio and or visual ad designs are, at least,
partly based on the properties that were present on design or designs
that the user of the system evaluated and selected as being the best
among some earlier presented set of designs.
3) A device arrangement and a method according to claim 1 where the user
that makes the selections of the best ad designs, may actually be a group
of users doing he designing cooperatively, possible even from various
remote locations using of computer networking techniques.
4) A device arrangement and a method according to claim 1 where the
ad designs may have various tunable and observable properties such as
colors, color darkness, color combinations, patterns in images or sounds,
words among included texts, potential use of pre-prepared small sound or
graphical design units inside those newly generated designs, positions
and and orientations of pre-prepared small sound or graphical design
units inside those newly generated designs units, and volume of
individual sound units within the newly generated sound designs.
5) A device arrangement and a method according to claim 1 where the
ad design to be improved is a down-loadable web page or part of a web page
or is an image, or any other graphical 2D or 3D construction, or a set of
2D or 3D images for example inside a movie, or a web page layout, or any
other ad layout consisting of one or more of alphabetical letters in
combination with some graphical units, or an ad containing some textual
presentation such as lyrics or poesy, or a song or some another kind of
musical composition or a combination, of one or more of those previously
mentioned.
6) A device arrangement and a method according to claim 1 where the
ad design to be improved is shown to a systems user in combination with
the surrounding web page and or without showing the surrounding web page
together with an ad or ads that are to be developed or improved.
7) A device arrangement and a method according to claim 1 where the
ad design is to be improved by making it, at least partly, to blend in
among the properties that are present in the surrounding web page's
visual appearance.
8) A device arrangement and a method according to claim 1 where the
ad design is to be improved by making it, at least partly, to stand out
among the properties of the surrounding web page's visual appearance.
9) A device arrangement and a method according to claim 1 where the
presence and possibly even properties, such as width and height, of those
ads that are to be improved are first detected by analyzing the
surrounding web page's source code for such information that may indicate
presence of ads that can be computationally improved.
10) A device arrangement and a method according to claim 1 where, in the
presence of of multiple ads, user can first choose one or more ads that
are subjected to available ad improvement treatment techniques.
11) A device arrangement and a method according to claim 1 where the
information of the properties of improved ad designs are to be stored
into some computer system, so that the commercial ad distributors can
later choose to distribute one or several of those improved
ad designs, or their derivates, to the web page visitors, possibly also
considering other factors, such as the measured efficiencies of each ad
design in terms of click through rates.
12) A device arrangement and a method according to claim 1 where the
information of the properties of improved ad designs are to be stored
into some computer system for later use, after an ad designing user makes
a computer mediated requests for achieving the storage of one or more of
the ad designs, for example by activating a web link with a computer
mouse or another computer control device.
