If you want a full-featured system, try Vend 0.2m (soon to be MiniVend).
It is described at:

http://www.iac.net/~mikeh/vend.html

Try this one: http://www.datasat.com/autocart/

Very easy to set-up and coded in Perl.

Please connect to our home page at http://www.hyperact.com and look at
the catalog maker. It is a visual tool that does not require programming
oor authoring knowledge in order to create a catalog.

The site includes our own catalog that was created with the tool and a
functional demo you can try.

You might want to check our catalog maker product, a functional demo of
the authoring environment is available for download from our site at
http://www.hyperact.com . The product does not require you to know any
programming or authoring.

Ron.

I found a shopping cart script. While it looks very complete, I caution
you that I have not tried it out yet. It is located at "Selena Sol's
Public Domain CGI Script Archive"

I think I found one actually. It comes with the httpd distribution
from hoohoo would you believe!!! it's called jj.c, and in that
incantation is used to order Subs from JJ's Subway. ( pizza type of
thing )

With a bit of hacking around, turn it into whatever type of
shopping cart you want . easy :-)

Try looking at a system called SOFTCART. They are tightly integrated
with cybercash, offer a goo shopping cart system, and a good store
front system

Perhaps I am misunderstanding these posts, but are you guys willing
to _pay_ for a shopping cart script, or are you looking for one already
written? I spent quite a bit of time designing a shopping cart for a
client, and I would not just give it away. I would entertain the notion of
selling my script if there were buyers. This is not to say there aren't
any free scripts out there, however I don't know of any. Perhaps for some
people, it's not a big deal and they're happy to give it away *shrug*

There ARE free scripts out there. The first (I know of) was Vend, by
Andrew Wilcox, available at http://www.maine.com/awilcox/vend. And I
have taken Vend 0.2 and packaged it as MiniVend, a full-featured yet
freely re-distributable electronic catalog. It is available at:

http://www.iac.net/~mikeh/mvend.html

I do try to make a buck supporting MiniVend, but have taken great
pains to try and make it as usable in its standard form -- with an
auto-configuration, a remote admin tool, extensive documentation,
and a standard demo. The next release will even support SSL.

I am quite interested in the Web becoming a place to do business,
and I hope my small contribution will help.
