Hi,

My employer is embarking on building low cost kiosk hardware. One of
our considerations is what touchscreen to use. Our screens are under
10" in size and we expect that they'll need to work using both skin
contact and pressure based (stylus or glove type environment). I've
seen products from Elo but it's been difficult to get an idea of their
pricing in the low volumes that we'll be generating. This is for both
the touchscreen and the touch controller. I was looking at 3M but it
would appear that they only have capacitive touchscreens on the market.
I'm sure many of here have gone through this same process. I would
really love to hear what decisions you made about touchscreen choice.
Rough information about pricing would also be great. If any touchscreen
vendors are reading this, please do feel free to contact me with
information.

Thanks,
Emily

Emily,

I would suggest you post your RFI to www.Kiosks.Org, it is an
association dedicated to the industry, you should receive several
responses quickly.

Greg
