Hello All,

Since this forum is about Intranets, I wanted to share our
implementation of a solution in this space with those that might be
interested. We've commercialized an On-Demand Intranet Web Portal
that we call "KnowIT", which helps facilitate the implementation and
adoption of Enterprise 2.0.

The solution incorporates:

- All Web 2.0 Traits, as defined by O'Reilly in the definition of Web
2.0
- Semantic Web standards and best practices that help achieve Web 3.0
(such as RDF and OWL/WOL)
- Software as a Service (SaaS) for the delivery/provisioning model
- Collaboration (Forums, Blogs, etc.)
- Rich User Interface Features (AJAX, Applets, etc.)
- Advanced Visualizations (Graphs, Trees, Maps, Grids, Charts, etc.)
- Metadata Standardization (Ontologies, Taxonomies, Entity and
Attribute definitions, Relationship definitions, Static Reference Data
definitions, etc.)
- Data Mining
- Enterprise Integration
- Business Intelligence & dynamic AdHoc Reporting (OLAP/ROLAP)
- Enterprise Indexing and Search
- Correlation Engines
- Improved Data/Information/Knowledge Management solutions
- Etc

For those of you that might be interested, please feel free to take a
look at: http://www.TraverseIT.com/TraverseITUIHome.html

The beauty is that, when done correctly, the cost of implementation is
a small fraction of trying to build it all, from scratch using a mix
of independent solutions. Anyone interested is always invited to
connect for further discussions, as we're always looking for honest
feedback, ideas, and guidance.

Anyhow, I certainly hope it helps.

My Best,

Frank Guerino, CEO
