The only one I'm aware of is SDF, but it's not the nicest thing when I
want to put there some document I've made on my computer (scp and wget
don't work).

SDF & SDF-EU are the only ones I know about. With regards to file
uploads at SDF as I understand it ftp, scp & sftp are available to
ARPA members while Validated members can use XYZMODEM tools or email
the document to their SDF email account as an attachment (saving the
attachment to the appropriate folder for the gopher server). My main
way of transferring file to and from SDF is to use the Gnome/Nautilus
'Connect to Server' feature (using ssh) and to just drag and drop
using Nautilus (call me lazy if you will but it works).

Since this didn't have a link when I read it:
gopher://sdf.lonestar.org/
has all of the information you'd need to connect to it.
That system has been around for a long time; it's on
an 1993 era list of servers at
http://trout.cpsr.org/cpsr/nii/nren/internet.access
entitled "INDIVIDUAL ACCESS TO INTERNET", encompassing
the PDIAL, NNSC, and nixpub lists.
