If you have an Android mobile device, Gopher is coming to you. The limited
internal testing with builds I've seeded has gone very well, so now it's
time to open it up. Please send me your comments -- in particular I'd like
to know how the speed compares to the built-in Browser (it *ought* to be
better), how well it interoperates, and how convenient it feels.

Overbite for Android supports item types [017ghI], multiple devices and
screen densities, portrait and landscape, zoom, and hURLs. gopher:// URLs
you touch in the Browser are automatically handled by Overbite. Although
this build does not yet support saving files to the memory card or internal
bookmarks, it does allow you to put shortcuts on the Home screen as basic
ones. It should integrate perfectly seamlessly with your current tasks.
It is also localization-ready: localizers wanted.

Try it out and let me know your thoughts.
