Greetings. One of my colleagues is doing some work on Maui and wants to
know if anyone has knowledge of a sugar cane/agricultural spatial database
for the island. Possibly a reference, name, email address, phone number??

Curse my lousy memory, but there is a neat GIS of the islands from and
agricultural view run by the guys in Agricultural Engineering at the
College of Tropical Ag and human Resources, Maile Way, Honolulu, HI
96822. I just can't get the names to click--I had hoped to do work on
termite distribution with them. If you have gopher access, it is probably
very easy to find them in the UH phone book. One is a Prof and the other
has an arabic-sounding name (no cultural offences intended).
