The joint land information conference in Orlando is sponsored by
URISA, ASPRS, and FACM. The conference promises an exciting program of
technical sessions, exhibits, and an opportunity to enjoy FloridaÕs
favorite Fun City. The conference theme, *Shaping Our Future*, challenges
us to look ahead in an effort to plan for FloridaÕs information needs in
the 21st century.

The conference Exhibit and Data Fair will provide the opportunity to
see and discuss with vendors and peers the latest in information systems
products, services, and applications.

The technical program includes a wide variety of sessions designed to
provide information for the entire spectrum of association professionals
and data users. This includes sessions on satellite information, base
mapping, digital orthophotos, and much, much more.

The Florida Joint Land Conference will also provide many opportunities
to make new friends, renew old acquaintances, and discuss ideas and
problems with people of similar interests. The Conference Steering
Committee believes that the combined resources of the three sponsoring
associations has produced an outstanding program. More importantly,
ÒShaping Our FutureÓ also gives partnering organizations, businesses, and
interested individuals an opportunity to collectively shape FloridaÕs
Comprehensive Land Information Program. Join in and youÕll find a valuable
program with ample time for fun and fellowship.
