new Manifold import export solvers released

We've published more solvers for Manifold System at our FTP sites
(reachable from "download" on the main web site at www.manifold.net)
for use with Manifold System Release 4.00. They are provided as an
installable solver package.

The new solver package installs four new utility solvers for import
and export using very simple formats. They appear in the "Utility -
Export / Import" solver menu.

Two solvers provide import and export of geometric data in perhaps the
simplest possible ASCII text format.

The other two solvers may be used to transfer geometry and/or database
information using Microsoft .mdb format databases.

Although Manifold currently reads DLG, VPF, TIGER 95/97, SDTS, ESRI
shp, MapInfo mif/mid, AutoCAD .dxf, and data from ODBC and network
sources (using TCP, SNMP, etc), we have had requests to provide import
/ export using extremely simply formats that allow use of plain text
files or simple database files to specify not only data fields but
also the geometry of lines and areas as well as points.

Note that these solvers do require installation of Manifold on your
system. There is no charge for these solvers to licensed Manifold
users. Enjoy!
