TOPICS OF INTEREST

-----------------------------------------------------------

SouthCHI accepts papers that describe results of original research performed in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), which emphasizes on new developments. Papers should present significant contributions to research and practice in all areas of Human-Computer Interaction. Authors are invited to submit complete papers which are neither published nor under review elsewhere.

Submissions are invited in all areas of Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Usability, Accessibility, Interaction Design, Ubiquitous Computing, Ambient Assisted Living, Knowledge Discovery with human-in-the-loop and related areas.

Specifically for SouthCHI2015 we encourage submissions inspired by the following theme:

“HCI – Serving the User”, thereby focusing on novel digital services and technical devices that may address the societal need to sensibly tailor technology to human needs in diverse contexts, from homes to working contexts or naturally living environments.

CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS

All submissions will be reviewed by at least three independent reviewers from SouthCHI Programme Committee. Accepted contributions will be printed in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) Series published by Springer (http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs <http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs> ) and indexed in Thomson Reuters Citation Index (http://thomsonreuters.com/products_services/science/science_products/a-z/isi_web_of_knowledge/<http://thomsonreuters.com/products_services/science/science_products/a-z/isi_web_of_knowledge/> ).
