Hello,

At the moment I'm undertaking work experience as a translator at Heise,
a publishing firm in Hannover, Germany. The firm publishes four German
language computer/technical titles (amongst other things) and my main
work is translating articles from two of the firm's best-selling titles.

The magazines are c't - general computing - and iX - multi user/Unix themes.
Both titles are renowned in Germany for the quality of their reporting.

The English translations can be found on the Web at:
c't: <URL:http://www.heise.de/ct/Service/English.htm>
iX: <URL:http://www.heise.de/ix/default_en.html>

What we would now like to know is how the English speaking world finds
our offering. Are the articles interesting to you? Or do some of them
concentrate too much on the German point of view? Views on the current
presentation, which needs work, are also invited, but less important than
opinions on the actual concept and content.

I look forward to receiving any comments, criticisms and suggestions you
may have after reading a few of the articles.
