My house is set up with X10 devices to control lights and I am also
thinking adding powerline ethernet to control an IP web cam whose
wireless radio receiver no longer seems to work. I hesitate though
because I am not sure the two different poweline protocols can coexist.
Does anybody have experience with this?

Thanks,
KJ

I do not have hands on experience but the frequencies used for BPL are much,
much higher than used by X-10. There should be no problem. And, there have
been posts here from users saying they had no interference.

Thanks for the info. It's reassuring.

I took a look at the two kinds of Powerline Ethernet and from what I
recall neither had problems with X10 (or Insteon as I recall).
