I'm building a new home and I want to install a home automation system to
control lights (with scenes), HVAC, and a security system. I want to do it
myself and I am more than capable to do so. However, it seems like all the
good systems are only available through installers. I'd like something more
sophisticated and robust then X-10.

Any advice?

Thanks,

Sylvain

Tony you might want to fix that page, it returns:

error 'ASP 0115'

Unexpected error

/default.asp

A trappable error occurred in an external object. The script cannot
continue running.

I'm certain the URL is correct. Their server must be having problems...

Ooops, sorry Tony I thought that was your page. Actually I thought it
looked familiar (I got the same error when the owner posted it).

Worthington Distributors www.worthdist.com

Check out www.k9soa.net and take the automated home tour.

Check out Home Automation magazine. Might be a little hard to locate but
Barnes should carry it. BiMonthly home automation aimed at the DIY.
