All,

I've seen this cable in home depot for years, but now that i'm ready
to buy some, it is all gone and they won't carry it anymore.

The stuff I'm talking about is 2 coax, 2 RG6 in a single PVC jacket.
Needless to say, the convinience of this stuff is great.

I'm in ottawa canada, doesn't anyone know of any other source for
this? Preferably local, but mail order may be ok.I you know of a
manufacturer, this would be great.

Thanks,
Jason.

I can sell it to you but I really don't recommend the stuff. Generally
speaking, you'll be better served using individual cables for the different
services than bundled cable. The so-called "multimedia" cable is heavy, has
a much larger bend radius, is more difficult to pull and far less flexible
to use than standard cables. It's also wasteful since you'll be doing lots
of drops requiring less than the standard four components. Some drops will
actually require more.

Hi Jason,

Joel at RF Connection, www.therfc.com will have or can order it, and
it will be fairly priced.

All,

Just to followup:

Since I'm in canada and ordering from the US is a pain in the wallet,
I found that belden has this new banana peel wire. I ordered it from a
local distib. It was about $400can whereas on some other US sites it
was ~$330us. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

PS. I know some will need more drops, and I have a roll of cat5 also.
This is mostly for the bedrooms and family room/garage that I wanted
the bundled since it more that satisfies this requirement.

Jason.

me, at least, that YOU are the fool, not Mr. Bass.

Ever look at the ratings of some of the big sellers on EBay ? The
ones who have done over 1000 sales? Well, almost every one has a few
negative feedbacks. Happens. Somebody didn't understand what they
were bidding on. Or the seller goofed up. Hey, what matters is not
that was a problem, but was it resolved to everyone's satisfaction in
the end.

When I need to buy stuff, I will certainly consider Mr. Bass. All the

Just filter the guy - you won't miss anything. The fool uses ASA.com
which he would have you believe relates to the ASA alarm group rather
than the domain's real owner, the American Sailing Association. I'm
with you, I'd say that 4 complaints over 3 years all resolved is pretty
good.

Thanks, Ca. I try to treat my clients well. Once in a while something goes
wrong. I currently handle ~1200 orders a month so I guess 4 complaints in
three years isn't too bad. I was thinking of hiring that little green gecko
to go around the country for me but he wants too much money and I can't find
parts for his tiny sports car. :^)

I wouldn't say I have the patience of an angel though. I looked into suing
Michael Sabodish, Jr., of Matawan, NJ for such things as tortious
interference, slander, libel, harassment, etc. Unfortunately, he's judgment
proof. There are no assets.

Hey moderator fool. Hey, dude. Seems like your getting a life after

And, yeah, I'm the dude which started this discussion. And I'm glad I

So it's official. Your a schmuck. Your a schmuck. Schmuck, Schmuck,

What he obviously doesn't understand is that he provides more free
advertising for Senor Bass than Robert could probably ever afford to buy. He
insures that the Bass store stays on everyone's mind and makes everyone feel
sympathetic to Robert, which makes them more likely to buy Bass than they
would if Mr. Moderator just kept his mouth shut. I'm sure that everyone who
has ever come to this forum learns quickly that Robert sells HA stuff and
that lots of people here do business with him, because this fool insures
that it's a constant topic of discussion.

He provides so much exposure to Robert that a cynic could almost believe
that Robert is paying him to do it, since it would be pretty cost effective
in terms of exposure. This guy can't be too bright if he fails to see what a
service he provides to Robert's potential sales by constantly making him the
subject of discussion.

It's difficult to tell whether his nonsense has any impact, positive or
negative, on sales. My business doing fine, regardless of his efforts.

There's a joke going around the Internet about a guy walking along a road
with his dog. As he walks he realizes that he's dead and so is his dog. He
remembers the accident where both of them died. As he walks he comes to a
beautiful, gold-lined street which ends at a pair of pearly gates leading
into a huge, enclosed yard. Outside the gates is a man seated at a desk.
He asks, "What is this place?"

"Heaven," the man replies.

"Can I go in?"

"Yes, but you'll have to leave your dog outside."

The man declines and keeps on walking. After a while he comes to an
ordinary looking street with a plain, wooden door leading into another huge,
enclosed space. Outside there is a man seated at a desk. "What is this
place," asks the traveler.

"Heaven. You are welcome to go in and bring your dog along with you."

"What's that other place down the road a piece?"

"Oh, that's hell."

"Don't you get annoyed at them for misrepresenting themselves and abusing
the name of your kingdom?"

"Not really. We actually appreciate them for screening out anyone who would
leave his best friend behind."

OK, so the joke isn't very funny but there is a point. Mr. Sabodish screens
out the kind of clients who would listen to a raving maniac bad-mouthing the
competition.

So....just to get this straight Bass...you are now saying that if anyone
claims that you killed a young girl in Missouri that they would be lying???

Your own words from the past actually admit that you did kill a young
girl...and I quote.....

"FTR, some have made snide remarks knowing I was once involved in a fatal
accident. The idea is to embarrass or defame me for a terrible incident
which happened many years ago. I take such comments in stride, considering
the low-minded sort of human trash who would do such things. I'll never get
over the sorrow for that horrible day. Nothing some fool can say about it
here will add to that sorrow, any more than sorrow can ever restore a life
snuffed out. That's my pain and it's something I alone must deal with. I
understand what it means to know that a life has been taken because of a
dumb mistake. I know the feeling of talking to a young man whose loved one
is gone forever. There's nothing I can do to undo that moment."

And

" I know what it feels like to stand at a graveside because of a stupid
mistake."

About a year after the accident I received a phone call from her husband.
We talked about the things leading up to it -- the long hours we'd all been
without sleep and the bright, morning sun on the long highway. He asked me
to drive because he was too sleepy to keep going. I said I was really
tired, too, but I thought I could drive for a while. The car was old and
there were no seatbelts. The radio wasn't working and one by one, everyone
fell asleep.

I tried to stay awake by opening the butterfly window to force some wind in
my face. I remember trying to fight off sleep and then all of a sudden we
were rolling.

Her husband's words to me on the phone were, "It wasn't your fault. It just
happened. Try to forgive yourself." It's been over 30 years and it's still
awful.

Mike Said:
Sensitive and caring? Are you trapped in a female body. Do you sit down when
you wee wee? Do you purchase female clothing on Ebay?

When should I expect to see a refund on my credit card? I tried to call
and email but your phone appears to have a bad connection and or is
busy. Via email, I am just getting your auto reponse.
Thanks

It's a real shame all of Bass's customers have to come here to contact him.
That makes it everyone's business.

I am sorry, but I to travel. In fact I was in four states in 1 week and
I have medical emergencies, and I had food poisoning. I understand we
are all busy and have issues, but this is not acceptable. I have called
you several times, but get a busy signal. I have emailed you and get
the auto-response. I have faxed you. The fact that I am writing this is
way too much. I also apologize to this group for having to communicate
to this vendor via this group. It is just unreasonable how difficult this
is.

As we are all aware we use email to handle such items, the facts are in
black and white.

Here is the deal-
Please see your packing slip for this order #158981 from your supplier
in the North East. Line item #6 shows an ELK-1280 was shipped to me.
Now review my order #4623BB- Line item #6 [#ELK-12250] ELK-12250
Battery: Rechargeable, 12V, 26AH 1 x US $43.50 = US $43.50.
Now the price difference between these two products is what I am asking
for. It really requires no more... Please subtract the difference and credit
my account. Since I am sure that this will continue I have, I contacted the
BBB of
West Florida and this is my Complaint 1835930 for your records. I had the
2nd issue
of double billing taken care of by my credit card company within 24 hours.
They recommended I send the battery back for a full credit. I think we can
take care
of this by making the adjustment. By doing the full credit, would cost me
the shipping.
Thanks
Frank

I agree that it's unreasonable. There's also no need to apologize to us.
We all recognize (from past transactions Robert's been involved in) that
this Newsgroup is the only really effective way of communicating with him.
If he spent less time promoting his online business in Newsgroups while
deriding others in the trade, and more time *servicing* his customers he'd
be far better off. What's really funny is that he's always quick to judge
others based on little more than pure conjecture and almost no first hand
knowledge of the individual or company he's slamming...

Makes no difference... even if he's the worst businessperson there could
be, it not about HIM. It's about YOU, YOU, YOU! YOU'RE the nut who
contributes nothing to the group. NObody has welcomed your "posts" but
you haven't noticed that have you? If we all promise not to buy from him
will you go away?

Hey group moderator. You seem to be a "one trick pony" and
your trick is getting old. Give it up. Here is your deserved PLONK...
