Hi there. I just bought a X-10 system but am unable to control the TM12
build-in Application Module. It works from my pc using the CM11, but i
cannot control it from my 8in1 remote control. On the back of the TM12 it
says 433MHz which matches the remote.
I have set the remote to send signals to the proper house code using the
following method: Press x10 button, press and hold setup, press 1 for Code
'A', press enter.
In a pdf manual for the 8in1 extracted from x10.com i read there are 2 home
automation codes for the remote. 013 and 014. (press and hold setup, press
x10, enter code.) Which code needs to be entered for 433Mhz communication
with an European 220v TM12G?
Or am i looking in the wrong corner to solve this prob?.
Maybe the TM12 is defective? Could this be? it responds to command from mt
CM11.

Anyway, help would be appreciated.

013 = RF (TM12G)
014 = IR (IR543)

It may be that you have a defective 8-in-1 remote. I've never been able to
get my 8-in-1 remote to send RF for X-10. It works fine for IR (014) while
my 6-in-1 works fine for RF.

The CM11 communicates with the TM12 via the powerline not via RF.

Are there any Palmpads available yet for European frequencies? That could be
used to test the TM12.
