I'd like any information on the house Bill Gates is building.
Can anyone refer me to any articles on this? Including automation
technologies, architecture layout, other design issues, etc.

The company doing the stuff is called The Music Room. I used to work for
one of the Musci Rooms competetors.
I do know that they're putting in a JVC/Hughs Light Valve and several
BARCO projectors.

Phew! LCLVs (Liquid Crystal Light Valves) go from $50,000 to $90,000. Makes
my $2K sony big screen sound like the price of the remote control..........

LCLV's allow the image quality of CRTs and the brightness of LCD screens.
For a price from $40k to $70k.

We just returned from a trade show where we had 3 Hughes-JVC projectors.
The AV tech who was supporting us told us that Bill Gates had a similar model to the one we were
using. From what I saw, the Hughes-JVC product was very good and
compared better than the other projectors people were using (Barco Ampro).

A bit of overkill for a house. (Unless you're Bill Gates)
