Postdoc positions in HPC

Five research positions in High Performance Computing available in the
framework of FP7-REGPOT project HOST (http://host.hpc.uvt.ro):
(Pos.1) Researcher in Cloud computing technologies for HPC service
exposure;
(Pos.2) Researcher in scheduling algorithms and techniques;
(Pos.3) Researcher in parallel computing in remote data processing;
(Pos.4) Researcher in large scale numerical computations;
(Pos.5) Researcher in HPC-based intelligent services.

Description

Main activities: (a) Conduct research in the specific topics of the
announced position; (b) Use the HPC Center facilities for achieving
the goals of the research; (c) develop software prototypes; (d)
prepare high-quality papers for journals, workshops and international
conferences; (e) disseminate the research results; (f) collaborate
with the current team to achieve the research goals; (g) collaborate
with the project partners in research activities; (h) be involved in
the preparation of new project proposals; (i) assist with supervision
and training of junior members of the center; (j) carry out
administrative tasks like activity reports as required by the project
schedule.

Sought profiles: experienced researchers in distributed computing (Pos.
1), parallel computing (Pos.2), image processing and/or data mining
(Pos.3), computational mathematics (Pos.4), artificial intelligence
(Pos.5).
