I have a scheduled agent that runs at 3:30 AM in the morning. If I make
a change to the agent during the day and refresh the design in the
production system, the agent will start to run. This is very annoying,
as it is only supposed to run at 3:30.

The best way I've found to handle this is to put a time check in the agent
and exit if it is running outside of a small window around the desired run
time. A real hack, but it works.

I will try that. But it seems to me that this is a bug in Notes. In my
opinion it is a serious bug at that. This is not how scheduled agents
are supposed to work, is it? If not, when are you going to fix this,
Lotus?

This probably doesn't help, but it's good to know that a scheduled
agent that runs weekly doesn't has that effect.
So if you want another solution apart from the time-selection, you can
"enable" your daily agent with a weekly agent.
