How to start a Notes application from a Web browser?

Hi,
Is there any way to start a Lotus Notes database from a browser, such as
Netscape?
It is NOT a Domino web site. I guess the question is walid also, how to
start a Windows application from a Web browser.

You can run a Notes application on a web browser so long as it has been 'web
enabled'.

As for windows applcation, you have to be more specficic about the programs.

Stuffs like MSWord and others can run in MSIE with plugins.
