Microsoft Office library template

Hi all,

I am working on a database which uses the Office library template:

1 - Each time I create a Microsoft Word Form, it launches Word within
Notes, then I write my stuff, save and exit, first from the word then
from the form. Is it possible to prevent that auto-launch of Word? In
fact, i would like to add a field that the user would fill in before
creating his Word document or after.

2 - Then, when I enter again in that form, instead of seeing the text
created from word in embedded format, it launches again word. How can I
prevent that?

I have a problem with this database, I asked for help some time ago, and
nobody answered... I know this is a bit off your topic, but it may be a
warning:

I use the MS Office Library database (R4, template: doclibm4.ntf) for some
time, and it works fine except one annoying thing: after making some
changes to Excel spreadsheet and saving this sheet in the LN database on
the very next day I have the second-last version in the database, the last
one disappears :-( Pretty strange, since the file update field contains
the time of the last update, not the second-last. To make myself clear, it
looks like this:

1. I open the sheet, make some changes, save. 2 pm
2. Open again (the content is ok), make changes, save. 3 pm
3. Next day: I have the file no. 1, but updated at 3 pm

No replication or any other user activity from 2 till 3.

Does anybody know what's wrong?
