We are currently using Notes v4.6, and now wour organization began
moving away from Notes in 2003. We are being acquired by a company that
uses Notes for email, etc. We have a large number of legacy Notes
databases and applications. To get ready for the change-over, we are
going to be upgrading our Notes clients to v6. I am part of the team
that will be testing our existing Notes databases & applications in the
new environment.
I was told today that the upgrade will require many changes to our
Notes code; for example in the code behind action buttons. Can someone
comment on the types of code changes that will be required by the
upgrade?
I am trying to get a handle on how we can estimate the level of effort
that will be needed to allow us to upgrade our Notes clients without
breaking our existing Notes code base.
Thank you.

The person who told you that is probably thinking you want to webify the app
and convert all your LotusScript to JavaScript or some such.
