(We're using Notes R4.02)

I've noticed that I may send a Lotus Notes email memo to myself without any problems.
However, if I send a Notes email memo to a Notes Group I'm a member of, then I don't get
that email memo at all while the other members of the group do get it. Moreover, if I'm
the only member of the group I'm sending the memo to, then I get the following error...

"No names found to send mail to."

...and the memo doesn't go through. Using the @MailSend(...) function produces the same
[undesirable] results. Is this [problem?] documented anywhere?. Is there a
workaround?. Or is this a "feature"? :-)

TIA,

It's a feature. Notes (rightly or wrongly) won't send you a message
that you send to a group that includes yourself (this is one of those
philosophical things that you have to think about when designing an
E-mail system). I'm actually surprized that it sends a message to you
when specify yourself.

The message "No names found to send mail to" is a warning. You can
get the same results if you send a message to a group of non-existant
people, and select "skip this person" for all the recipients when it
asks you if you want to send the message.

I just went through this with 4.1 and confirmed with Lotus Tech
Support that I uncovered a number of bugs in 4.1 and NT 3.51

Check you NAB hidden views ($Users) and make sure that it is ok. THis
one was totally messeed up in my NAB and I got the same messages you
are talking about.
