Hi,

for a demo I'm trying to set up a server that can send e-mails from
the server after users filled in a document.

Everything is working fine, except of the message that needs to be
send to the internet. I get the following messages:
08-06-2000 02:04:45 Router: Unable to obtain Internet host and
domain names
08-06-2000 02:04:45 DNS Resolver failed to initialize.: DNS resolver
error
08-06-2000 02:04:45 Mail Router started for domain POK
08-06-2000 02:04:45 Router: Internet SMTP host webserver01 in domain
tracking store.
08-06-2000 02:05:05 Router: No messages transferred to
SMTP.<providername> (host SMTP.<providername>) via SMTP
08-06-2000 02:05:11 Router: No messages transferred to
SMTP.<providername> (host SMTP.<providername>) via SMTP

Router: Error transferring message <...> via SMTP to
SMTP.<providername> 503 RCPT first (#5.5.1.)

When I try to send from my administrators mailfile it's working. But
only after I filled in the e-mail address in the location document.

I'm using Lotus Domino 5.0.3. and Windows 2000 Professional. The
e-mail account is a pop3 box, but it should be possible to send e-mail
through the smtp server of the provider (like I do with my
administrators mailfile). The smtp server of the provider is in my
host file

Is what I want possible?
If yes, how?
If not, what other possibilities do I have?

I hope somebody has an answer.
